David Johnson Founder & Managing Director
David is an Australian based Property Development Specialist with extensive knowledge in the fields of residential, high-end hotel and commercial developments. David previously held General Manager and Director roles for subsidiaries of Global 500 Companies and has successfully delivered a number of large-scale mix-used developments including 500 Pacific Highway, St Leonards (The Landmark).
David has extensive knowledge in establishing new property structures, operations, land acquisition, development, off the plan sales and marketing, contract negotiation, on-site construction and senior and junior loan facility arrangements.
David helds Master of Architecture degree from Australia and the Netherlands.
David helds a number of None Exclusive Director roles for businesses within the property sector.
Basil Lim Director, Head of Development & Planning
Basil Lim is a Malaysian-born Australian building designer who began his career at Sydney’s renowned Anchor Mortlock Woolley firm, upon receiving First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of New South Wales. He has over 20 years of experience in the property industry which included professional stops in Australia, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and China.
Daniel Barber Head of Planning
Daniel has 15 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. He currently provides clients with specialist advice on all matters relevant to the statutory and regulatory planning environment and the management of complicated development projects. Daniel holds a Masters Degree in Property Development, Bachelor of Planning and is a Certified Practicing Planner.
Daniel established his career working at City of Sydney, Ku-ring-gai and Woollahra Councils in planning. He has spent the last decade in the private sector as a Senior Planning Consultant and most recently as the Head of Planning for a reputable property developer.
His extensive experience presenting at s34 Conciliation Conferences via the Land and Environment Court of NSW and Local Planning Panel meetings has sharpened his communication skills which when paired with his natural client-oriented focus achieves outcomes unmatched by other firms.
Russell Cotton Head of Acquisition
For over 20 years Russell has worked for many of Australia’s premier developers and agencies. A specialist in the Sydney and Melbourne markets, Russell ventured to Malaysia in 2013 to broaden his horizons and career. Russell was the International Sales Director for RPM Real Estate Group and Salta Properties during his 4 year tenure in Malaysia.
Russell returned to Australia in 2017 to focus on the needs of local and offshore clients in both the primary and secondary property markets as well as advising property owners on planning and development opportunities.
Nick Golusin Head of Development (Victoria)
A 30 year career in large scale residential, commercial and retail property projects. Executive roles at MAB Corporation, Lustig & Moar and Salta Properties delivering outcomes for both private wealth and publicly listed companies. An expert in co ordinating large scale programs of work that range from land subdivisions through to multi-billion-dollar projects including the rapid growth of Richmond’s Victoria Gardens precinct and the recreation of Preston Market. Recent planning and government experience also includes working with the level crossing removal authority for new inner city urban renewal projects critical for the future growth of Melbourne.
Nick was a committee member for both the Property Council and Urban Development Institute, and is always involved in advocacy and policy making for the betterment of the industry.
